STORY OF SOUTH PARK STREET CEMETERY (साउथ पार्क स्ट्रीट सेमेट्री की कहानी) कोलकाता के मदर टेरेसा सारणी रोड पर स्थित साउथ पार्क सेमेट्री को कोलकाता की सबसे डरावनी जगहों में से एक माना जाता रहा है ! इस जगह का खौफ इतना ज्यादा बढ़ गया था एक समय पर की कोई भी अकेले जाने की हिम्मत नहीं कर पाता,और क्यों न हो जगह ही शांत और भयानक है, वैसे सुरक्षा कर्मी वहाँ मौजूद रहते है ! अभी भी कुछ सैलानी अपने पूर्वजो को ढूंढने या उनको पुष्प अर्पित करने के लिए यहाँ आते है ! इस जगह के शांत होने की वजह से या चहल-पहल कम होने की वजह से ये नशे करने वाले लोगो का केंद्र बन गया था ! 1767 में बनाये गए इस सेमेट्री को 1790 में बंद कर दिया गया था, तब तक लग-भग 1600 लोगो को इसमें दफनाया गया , पार्क स्ट्रीट सेमेट्री दुनिया की सबसे पुरानी गैर-चर्च सेमेट्री में से एक थी,और शायद 19वी शताब्दी में यूरोप और अमेरिका के बाहर सबसे बड़ी सेमेट्री हुआ करती थी! टॉलीवुड की एक बंगाली फिल्म यही फिल्माई गयी थी जो सत्यजीत रे के उपन्यास पर आधारित थी! लोगो के द्वारा
